Dear Friends,
Nearly 25 years ago the largest cash robbery in US history took place in downtown Los Angeles, California. Six men robbed the Dunbar Armory facility of $19 million dollars. Safety stolen.
In 2007 Bernie Madoff testified that it was impossible to violate Wall Street’s regulatory practices… while at the same time he was operating the largest Ponzi scheme in history defrauding over 4,800 clients of 18 billion dollars. Safety violated.
According to the National Child Abuse hotline, in 2018, 76% of child abuse perpetrators were a parent to their victim. Safety abused.
Whether it is money or a relationship, a “safe” or a human heart, safety of all sorts is temporary this side of eternity.
Consider the following reality where safety is kept:
“God’s great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead… to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.” 1 Peter 1:3-4
Your inheritance is greater than you ever imagined… and “kept in heaven for you”.
