Dear Friends,
Christmas… a promise made and kept.
The promise you and I celebrate this month is the promise of a Savior, Immanuel, “God with us.” JavaScript’s “Promise for Dummies” may improve our technology but not our heart for our journey “home.” Christmas is the promise of a trustworthy Heavenly Father to “wise men who still seek Him.” God indeed has identified with our dumbness, and He invites us to enter into the “dawn of His redeeming grace,” forever and forever.
In the words of songwriter/musician Chris Tomlin:
There is a truth older than the ages,
There is a promise of things yet to come,
There is One born for our salvation, Jesus.
There is a light that overwhelms the darkness,
There is a kingdom that forever reigns,
There is a freedom from the chains that bind us, Jesus.
