Thanksgiving Trash Removal

by | Nov 5, 2021

Dear Friends,

Trash and lots of it. We Americans dispose of over 140 million tons of trash annually… mostly food, plastic, paper products and metal. It makes for an ugly landscape when not recycled.

Recycling provides material for the roads we drive on, the clothing we wear, the cars we drive, the soap that cleans, the metal structures that build, sports equipment that entertains… even kitty litter for cats!

There’s other trash, that when recycled, makes for a better landscape. Fear recycled into courage, bitterness into forgiveness, judgment into mercy, selfishness into generosity, thoughtlessness into kindness and lots more. Seems like God has provided for a recycling that has unlimited potential for our trash to be made into something new, better, more lasting for all of us.

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19

Grateful for you and this Thanksgiving of recycling into a “new thing” for improving our landscape.
